Ein Tanz, gewidmet der Künstlerin, Genderaktivistin und dem Drag King Diane Torr, die im Mai 2017 verstarb. Ein Jahr später auf den Tag genau tanze ich in einem schwarzen Raum: ein einziger Take, in dem Vorstellungen von Mann und Frau verschwimmen – eine Ode an das Leben und den Tod.
A dance dedicated to artist, drag king and gender activist Diane Torr who passed away in May 2017. A year to the day, I dance in a black room: a single shot fusing male and female as an ode to life and death.

A Japanese legend says that if you look into a mirror at 4:44 AM a portal to another dimension opens. During 4 minutes and 44 seconds Giselle dances the echo of her soul in Wili-form.

Die hauptsächlich in Finnland vorkommende Birke „Betula“ galt den alten, nordischen Völkern als Baum des Lichtes, des Kosmischen und des Heiligen, voller Lebensenergie. Ein sich bewegender Körper und die Bäume versuchen, die heiligen Spuren dieser natürlichen Umgebung erneut zu wecken.
The birch tree (betula), mainly present in Finland, was considered a tree of light, of the cosmic and the sacred, possessing vital energy by ancient Nordic civilizations. The trees and a moving body try to awaken the traces of this sacred natural environment.
