Adriana Almeida Pees ist seit der Spielzeit 2017/2018 die künstlerische Leiterin und Kuratorin der Tanzsparte des Theater Freiburg. Ihre Ausbildung zur profesionellen Tänzerin absolvierte sie in São Paulo und war ab 1985 Solotänzerin in zahlreichen internationalen Ensembles. Die promovierte Tanzwissenschaftlerin und Psychologin unterrichtet als Gastdozentin regelmäßig an verschiedenen Universitäten, Tanzzentren und Festivals in Europa und Südamerika. Als Body-Mind Centering®-Lehrerin, -Practitioner und Infant Developmental Movement Educator (IDME) leitet sie seit 2009 das BMC-Ausbildungsprogramm in Brasilien und seit 2015 in Uruguay. Mit dem von ihr mitgegründeten internationalen Produktionsbüro prod.art.br / interior Produções Artísticas Internacionais leitete sie bislang über 50 Kulturprojekte in Brasilien, Südamerika und Europa. 

Juliane Kiss absolvierte ihr Studium im Bereich Kulturwissenschaften mit Schwerpunkt Lateinamerikanistik in Leipzig, Chile und Bonn. Von 2017 bis 2020 war sie als Projektkoordinatorin am Goethe-Institut Chile für die Bereiche Theater, Tanz, Internationale Koproduktionen sowie Künstlerresidenzen verantwortlich. Zur Spielzeit 2020/2021 wechselte sie als Produktionsleiterin in die Tanzsparte am Theater Freiburg und übernahm mit Beginn der Spielzeit 2021/22 auch die dramaturgische Betreuung der Projekte und Veranstaltungen der Tanzsparte.

Adriana Almeida Pees has been the artistic director and curator of Theater Freiburg's dance department since the 2017/2018 season. She trained as a professional dancer in São Paulo and was a solo dancer in numerous international companies from 1985. She holds a doctorate in dance science and psychology and regularly teaches as a guest lecturer at various universities, dance centres and festivals in Europe and South America. As a Body-Mind Centering® teacher, practitioner and Infant Developmental Movement Educator (IDME), she has led the BMC training programme in Brazil since 2009 and in Uruguay since 2015. With the international production office prod.art.br / interior Produções Artísticas Internacionais, which she co-founded, she has managed over 50 cultural projects in Brazil, South America and Europe. 

Juliane Kiss completed her studies in cultural studies with a focus on Latin American studies in Leipzig, Chile and Bonn. From 2017 to 2020, she was project coordinator at the Goethe-Institut Chile, responsible for theatre, dance, international co-productions and artist residencies. For the 2020/2021 season, she moved to the dance department at the Freiburg Theatre as production manager and, with the start of the 2021/22 season, also took over the dramaturgical supervision of the dance department's projects and events.

Alexander Ernst, „Alec“ (er/ihn), geboren 1987, ist Teil der künstlerischen Leitung der TanzFaktur, in Köln. Seit 2016 ist er an der Entwicklung des freien Produktions- und Aufführungsortes beteiligt. Er ist Teil der Kuration für die beiden Festivals SommerAkademie und (Rh)einfach Fest, sowie für die Spielzeitzeit und Residenzformate. Er studierte Philosophie, Psychologie und Politikwissenschaften und ist auch als freier Dramaturg und Kurator tätig.

Alexander Ernst, "Alec" (he/him), born 1987, is in the artistic direction of TanzFaktur, Cologne, playing part in building and developing an independent production and performance space since 2016. He is curator for the two festivals SommerAkademie and (Rh)einfach Fest, as well as for the seasonal program and residency formats, of the house. He studied philosophy, psychology and political science and works also as a freelance dramaturge and curator.

Bernhard Siebert (er/ihn), geboren 1980, ist Forschungsreferent an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main. Er studierte Theater-, Film- und Medienwissenschaft und Publizistik in Wien und war für die Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit von Theatern in Berlin, Zürich und Dortmund verantwortlich. Am Institut für Angewandte Theaterwissenschaft der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen war als Assistent und Dozent tätig und für die internationalen Beziehungen verantwortlich. Er lebt in Frankfurt am Main und Dortmund.

Bernhard Siebert (he/him), born in 1980, works as research consultant at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. He studied theater, film, media and communication in Vienna and was responsible for the press and media departments in theaters and companies in Berlin, Zurich, and Dortmund. At the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies of Giessen’s Justus-Liebig University, he worked as assistant and teacher, and was responsible for international relations. He is based in Frankfurt am Main and Dortmund, Germany.

Carmen Kovacs ist freie Tanzdramaturgin und lebt in München. Von 2017 bis 2020 war sie die Dramaturgin des Bayerischen Staatsballetts und von 2020 bis 2022 Tanz- und Operndramaturgin an der Deutschen Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf Duisburg. Sie arbeitete u.a. mit den Choreograph*innen Aszure Barton, Demis Volpi, Moritz Ostruschnjak, Hélène Blackburn, Andrey Kaydanovskiy, Nanine Linning, Xin Peng Wang, Xenia Wiest und Eric Gauthier. Als Jurymitglied ist Carmen Kovacs seit 2019 für den Bayerischen Landesverband für zeitgenössischen Tanz tätig sowie 2020 und 2022 für den Förderpreis Tanz der Landeshauptstadt München.

Carmen Kovacs is a freelance dance dramaturge living in Munich. From 2017 to 2020 she was the dramaturge of the Bavarian State Ballet and from 2020 to 2022 dance and opera dramaturge at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf Duisburg. She has worked with choreographers* including Aszure Barton, Demis Volpi, Moritz Ostruschnjak, Hélène Blackburn, Andrey Kaydanovskiy, Nanine Linning, Xin Peng Wang, Xenia Wiest, and Eric Gauthier. As a jury member, Carmen Kovacs has been active for the Bavarian State Association for Contemporary Dance since 2019, as well as for the Förderpreis Tanz of the City of Munich in 2020 and 2022.

Mateusz Szymanówka ist Dramaturg und Kurator und arbeitet derzeit an den Sophiensaelen in Berlin, wo er für das Tanzprogramm und die Kuration des Festivals Tanztage Berlin verantwortlich ist. Als Dramaturg arbeitete er vor allem mit der jungen Generation von Choreograf*innen und Performance-Macher*innen zusammen, die in Berlin und Warschau leben und deren künstlerische Praxis im zeitgenössischen Feminismus und in der Queer Theory verwurzelt ist. Von 2019 bis 2020 kuratierte er zusammen mit Michal Grzegorzek das performative und diskursive Programm To Be Real im Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst Schloss Ujazdowski in Warschau, das die Beziehung zwischen zeitgenössischer Performance und Clubkultur untersuchte. Darüber hinaus hat er mit und für Institutionen und Initiativen wie Nowy Teatr, Teatr Studio und Pomada Queer Festival in Warschau, Kunstmuseum in Lodz, Art Stations Foundation in Poznan, HAU Hebbel am Ufer und Performing Arts Festival Berlin gearbeitet.

Mateusz Szymanówka is a dramaturg and curator, currently working at Sophiensaele in Berlin, where he is responsible for the dance program and the curation of the festival Tanztage Berlin. As a dramaturge, he has primarily collaborated with the young generation of choreographers and performance makers living in Berlin and Warsaw, whose artistic practice is rooted in contemporary feminism and queer theory. From 2019 to 2020, together with Michal Grzegorzek, he curated the performative and discursive program To Be Real at Ujazdowski Castle CCA in Warsaw, examining the relationship between the contemporary performance and club culture. In addition, he has worked with and for institutions and initiatives such as Nowy Teatr, Teatr Studio and Pomada Queer Festival in Warsaw, Art Museum in Lodz, Art Stations Foundation in Poznan, HAU Hebbel am Ufer and Performing Arts Festival Berlin.
